The AS course is now in its second year and aims to give students the chance to develop their practical skills in using a fully manual SLR camera whilst allowing them to explore the opportunities digital photography allows. The A2 course allows students to continue to develop their practical skills whilst developing their own lines of enquiry.

St Wilfrid's Unplugged - Thursday 27th May 2010
by S Gildea - Monday, 17 May 2010, 10:03 AM

The Music Department is proud to present our new concept this year; St Wilfrids Unplugged! on Thursday 27th May.

Following the traditions of the BBC Live Lounge and the Radio 1 Saturday Sessions, St Wilfrid’s is about to host its first ‘acoustic’ night. This will be an open air concert featuring many new acts in a festival style open air venue in the main inner courtyard of the school.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own deckchairs, seating and food for a night to remember.

Tickets cost £2 per person and are only available on the door. Doors open at 6.30pm with the music beginning at 7pm. Should the weather be uncooperative then the show will go on ... but in the ‘wedge’!

Bring family, bring friends, there’ll be something to appeal to everyone.
