Click here to visit a gallery of the work created by the sixth form Photography students who are studying for AS and A2 level Photography. The AS course is now in its second year and aims to give students the chance to develop their practical skills in using a fully manual SLR camera whilst allowing them to explore the opportunities digital photography allows. The A2 course allows students to continue to develop their practical skills whilst developing their own lines of enquiry.

SAM Learning is a tool acquired by St Wilfrids.  All students have access to this and can acquire their login details from the IT Techncians at school.

Centre id = RH11SW
User ID and Password are your Date of Birth followed by initials.  For example: 310196DJ is the User ID for David Jones, born 31st January 1996.

It has been found that doing as little as 10 task hours’ on SAM Learning can start to improve attainment.

WOOGLE TUBE

This term saw the launch of St Wilfrid’s own TV production, Woogle Tube.  This is a TV programme made by the students for the students of St Wilfrid’s.

 The student production team behind Woogle Tube decide and create the content that captures the energy and output from all activities in the school day, so each student will see themselves on film making a contribution that can be shared with colleagues, staff, parents and other schools.
